What to check in any charter quote
Crewed charters are usually priced per night, but what that rate covers differs from boat to boat. We put each of these in writing so quotes can be compared fairly.
- Crew and meals
- Captain, deckhands and chef. Meals and non-alcoholic drinks are normally included. Confirm alcohol and special diets.
- Fuel
- Some quotes include fuel for the agreed route. Others add it at cost.
- Park and port fees
- National park entry, conservation fees and harbour charges are often extra. We list the current amounts.
- Water toys and gear
- Snorkel gear, paddleboards and kayaks vary. Diving is usually arranged separately.
- Transfers and flights
- Airport transfers and domestic flights can be added. Tell us if you want them handled.
