What moves the price
Two charters on the same yacht can cost different amounts. These are the reasons.
- Season
- July, August and the Christmas and New Year weeks cost the most. Shoulder months are often better value.
- Region
- Remote regions such as Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea need more fuel and longer passages.
- Length of trip
- Some yachts offer better nightly rates on longer charters. Ask us.
- Group size
- The rate covers the whole yacht, so the price per guest drops as the group fills the cabins.
- Add-ons
- Diving, flights, transfers, celebrations and special catering are priced separately.
Included, and extra
Every quote lists these lines clearly, so two quotes can be compared fairly.
- Usually included
- Captain, crew and chef, meals, water, snorkel gear and the use of the yacht's water toys.
- Often extra
- Fuel, national park and conservation fees, harbour charges, alcohol and diving.
- Payment
- Usually a deposit to confirm the dates and the balance before departure. The schedule and cancellation terms are in the charter agreement.
